The IABP PhD Summer School 2025, held in Budapest from 8 to 10 September 2025, has successfully concluded.
Organised by the International Association of Building Physics in cooperation with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the event welcomed young researchers from across the world for three intensive days of lectures, workshops, and networking.
Participants explored cutting-edge topics such as hygrothermal materials, BIM-to-BEM simulations, daylighting, urban microclimate modelling, and innovative solutions for improving energy performance and comfort in buildings. Beyond the classroom, social activities, including a guided walk through Budapest and informal evening gatherings, fostered valuable connections and a genuine spirit of collaboration.
